Coast Redwood : The World's Tallest Tree

Coast Redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) is the tallest tree in the world. At the last measurement in 2004 led him to the giant (Sequoia sempervirens) at 115.24 meters - and still growing in the sky over California.

It is a bit amusing, how in any year, the tallest redwood treee could possibly yield the title to another one, if the top breaks, or if a slightly shorter one grows faster. Either way, they are very tall trees.
